Getting Started

Crypto.com does not have a web application only a mobile application that must be downloaded onto your smart phone. Anyone can sign up for an account on the Crypto.com application once it is downloaded from the appropriate App Store.

You will need a bank account or credit card to use to transfer funds to the Crypto.com platform into what they call their "Fiat Wallet". Once funds are in the Fiat Wallet you can use them to buy crypto on their exchange. You can also send crypto to your wallets from other crypto wallets as well, just be careful in making sure you are using the right wallets, IE BTC must go to a BTC wallet and ETH must go to a ETH wallet.

Personal Results

I have used the Crypto.com Mobile App for various different functions such as:

• Buying/Selling Crypto - this is pretty easy once you understand their wallets and how everything is segmented.

• Transferring Crypto Wallet to Wallet - this is pretty straightforward the only downside is when transferring to external wallets you must wait for 24 hours after setting up a new External Wallet address before you can use it, which is absurd to me.

• Staking Crypto - this is pretty straightforward as well and I have used with great success in getting decent annual returns of 6-10%. They previously offered higher returns but have recently reduced them and then capped it at $30,000 before your returns are cut in half on anything after $30,000 which seems odd to me to penalize people for using your system more.

• Crypto.com VISA Card - I have only had their prepaid VISA card for a few months and still getting used to it. I do like it, the prefunding of the card is a little annoying (and I hear that might be going away down the road) but it is nice to be earning rewards in their CRO token for everything you spend money on. Also getting a full refund on Spotify, NetFlix, and Amazon Prime is really nice too.

Overall Recommendation

Positives (Pro's)

• Reputable company with low risk of anything happening to the company

• Easy of use and access

• Highest annual return rate I have seen in the various crypto exchanges and platforms

Negatives (Con's)

• Sending cryptos to new external wallets has 24 hour waiting period

• Penalizing Users with over $30,000 in their Earn program

Overall Recommendation

I still personally use their system for their Staking and Credit Card Rewards program but I have moved any crypto that I am not staking from their platform because of the external sending limitation.
